Colin Burnett is the host of the Deck Talk Podcast and the founder of a growing fishing media production company. A lifelong angler with deep roots in Tennessee’s world-class fisheries, Colin’s passion for fishing began at the age of four on the banks of Old Hickory Lake near Nashville, where he first learned the sport from his father and granddaddy.

After relocating to Chattanooga, Tennessee, Colin found himself surrounded by some of the South’s premier bass lakes — Chickamauga, Nickajack, and Guntersville — all practically in his backyard. He competed in local bass tournaments for nearly a decade, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of the sport.

Today, Colin channels his experience and enthusiasm into content creation and storytelling. As the creator and host of Deck Talk Podcast, he sits down with top anglers, industry leaders, and passionate fishermen to share insights, strategies, and the culture of the sport. Through his production company, he continues to expand his reach by producing high-quality fishing content that connects with anglers across the country.
Colin resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he remains an active angler and dedicated voice in the fishing community.

Josh Vaughn, known to many as PappyJ, is a proud veteran who served 8 years in the U.S. Army as an 88M (Motor Transport Operator). During his service, he deployed to Afghanistan in 2012–2013, supporting combat logistics operations.

A lifelong outdoorsman, Josh grew up fishing the legendary waters of Lake Chickamauga, Nickajack, and Guntersville. He competed in local fishing tournaments for five years, honing his skills on some of the Southeast’s best bass lakes. When he’s not on the water, he’s an avid bow hunter, pursuing whitetail deer across the beautiful landscapes of Georgia.

Josh is the co-host of the popular DeckTalk podcast alongside Colin Burnett. Together, they launched a production company dedicated to creating quality outdoor and lifestyle content.

Above all, Josh cherishes his family. He has been happily married to his beautiful wife, Tina Vaughn, for over 15 years. Together they are blessed with five wonderful children and three adorable granddaughters, who remain the center of his world.
